I've been measured at least 5 times for road bikes and always told I needed a 47 to 49cm frame. I've had everything from a 51cm (used) down to a 47 and my shoulders were hurting so bad I thought I had torn a rotator cuff! New season was about to start and I was determined that I had not entered the "give-up-and-buy-a-comfort-bike" age yet. I went to Peddler on Walker Ave. Memphis, TN. because I was interested in checking out the 105 components to see the difference between them and cheaper stuff. The only bike in stock at the time with 105's was a leftover 2013 Domane 4.3 WSD in a 44cm frame. Te salesman says "well you can at least ride it and feel how it shifts". I rode around the parking lot a few times and then he said "ride some more" so I did and the more I rode the more I realized that, not only did I love the shifting of the 105's, but NOTHING HURT ON ME! I put the bike on layaway and rode it for the first time on Sat April 18, 2015. IT IS PERFECT!! I have ridden it 4 more times and still no pain......FINALLY after 5 years I have THE bike!
