Every 10 years I upgrade things - car, flat screens, and now my 12 year old Klein. I laughed at my gonzo 60+ neighbor who built out a custom bike with Di2 shifting - I mean, really, give me a break I thought. Well, it was my 60th birthday, I had lost 30 lbs in 2 months, and the 2015 model with Di2 was only a few $$ more than a 2016 without, so why not? Best move ever!!! This bike is light, this bike is fast, this bike is responsive, this bike has a compact double with 11 in the back and more gearing than my old triple! The Di2 is amazing - just a touch whenever you want and zink-shift its DONE. I shift ALL the time, and have conquered a local 23 degree grade that I NEVER... The seat just worked - did a 7300 ft 107 mile ride on Saturday and felt so comfortable I went out and did a 42 mile recovery ride the next day! The seat post pivots for a bit of suspension and I just don't miss the rubber damper I had on my Klein. I gave it away, I wouldn't be using it ever again.
