2014 Trek Remedy 7 650B/27.5

As if the Remedy wasn't awesome already, Trek went ahead and made a 650B version. Bigger wheels, faster speed, better traction—they're yours. This bike embodies enduro with 140mm of travel and the geometry to master any and all terrain. From the climb up to the summit to the descent back to the trailhead, you're dialed with a 3 x 10 Shimano with an SLX Plus derailleur that pretty much eliminates chain slap and drop. Bontrager components, from the wheels to the cockpit, keep the weight down, yet have the durability that serious riders demand. Wanna go big today? Do shuttle runs? Pin the XC course? Whatever the question, Remedy is the answer.

Excellent with a few flaws

Comments:

Well-balanced. Geometry is perfect for 650B wheels. Neatly combines the 29ers ability to roll over obstacles with the maneuverability of 26ers. Rear Fox shock is responsive and is nicely dialed for the three different modes (climb, trail, descend). Bonty and Shimano components are good for the price point. RockShox Revelation fork rebounds nicely and eats up the bumps, but remains mushy during aggressive climbing, even if dialed to the 'lock' mode. That's really the only complaint, otherwise this bike excels as a great all-around rig.

Great bike. Easy to use. Nice and light weight for cross country. Definitely not a beginner bike but not a pro bike either. Great ride.
