The George Washington National Forest (GWNF) is one of the greatest places to ride your bike. It stretches the entire western part of Virginia and is the front door to mountain biking in West Virginia. With over 1.8 million acres you can easily get lost, so if you want to get the scoop stop by the Shenandoah Bicycle Company or better yet take a tour with Shenandoah Mountain Touring. Over the past 10 years they have experienced almost all the trails of Western Virginia, so let then make your next riding experience a memorable one.
